But it can also give you the best time to reflect on your long term goals in your career life. Most college graduates get their first two jobs most often but are quite unsure of what they really want to do in their lives. in terms of their career paths. Their passions and interests. So getting lad off is not all that bad. It can be a blessing in disguise to your life. It can be a major catalyst to finding the best job for your personality and interest. While reassessing your goals, take time to ask yourself. If you really enjoy the work you were doing. Think of your skills, your strong points and your weaknesses so the next time, you will not be the one to be let go. Make a list of the jobs you are trully interested in. Consider the skills you have , if it fits your interest. Also, focus on what we call, transferable skills, like accounting, writing, computer literacy and public speaking. These are important to companies in any field.
