Excessive strain to the body caused by pulling and pushing, lifting, bending or reaching. Proper exercise, good body mechanics and periodic rest will reduce injury.
Repetitive motion. Periodic rest and stretching will help immensely.
Exposure to excessive light and noise like those from welding operations. Wearing welder’s glasses and earmuffs will help, also avoidance if permissible.
Exposure to harmful liquids and water. Prevent from drowning by learning swimming lessons, being careful from slipping and bringing appropriate gear and medications for infections and harsh reactions.
Exposure to gases, vapors, fumes and dusts. Wearing gas masks or utilizing air filters are practical.
