Majors In Demand

This year, employers plan to hire bachelor degree graduates of accounting, followed by electrical and mechanical engineering, and then computer science. In the master’s degree level, they will target mainly electrical and computer engineering graduates, computer science, and then mechanical engineering followed by business administration/management.

On the other hand, employers in utility companies, consulting services and state or local governments are looking for two-year graduates only. This is because these graduates make a good choice for entry-level positions. In addition, they usually join the workforce with special skill sets that are unique to the position that they apply for, requiring less training from their employers.
