Trend data indicate that Americans who are graduating with technical degrees are not enough to meet the rising demand of employers. Because of this, more and more employers are getting foreign-born students to fill out their employment needs. In fact, one-third of the employers who responded to the survey indicated that they are indeed planning to hire these international students within the year.

Employers in the scientific equipment manufacturers consulting services, computer & business equipment manufacturers and computer software development firms are the ones most interested in hiring international students. They need graduates of computer science as well as civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.
